Location:

Austin, TX (hybrid; 2–3 days in office).

• Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for prospects.
• Organize proof‑of‑concept implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise.
• Lead and contribute to team projects that develop our sales process.
• Collaborate with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
• Become an expert in SQL, dbt, and enterprise data operations.
• Actively contribute to the dbt open source community.

• 2+ years closing experience in technology sales, exceeding annual targets.
• Understand complex technical concepts and translate them into consultative sales.
• Excellent verbal, written and in‑person communication skills for stakeholders at all levels of an analytics organization.
• Strong diligence and organizational skills for long, intricate sales cycles.
• Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to inclusive teamwork and community engagement.
• Experience with SQL, or willingness to learn.

• Experience in analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open‑source software.
• Knowledge or experience with dbt.

Pay Range: $90,000 – $110,000 USD
OTE: $180,000 – $220,000 USD
