• Support and drive the product backlog, including intake triage, prioritization, status tracking, and coordination of hand-offs so work moves from request to delivery without stalling.

• Help support the Enterprise Intake Management process, including prioritization, research, and customer engagement.

• Coordinate agendas, action items, schedules, and follow-ups across program work streams and stakeholders to keep initiatives on track. Governance, Standards, and Risk Support

• Support the development and upkeep of AI governance materials, including acceptable use standards, guardrails by risk level, and intake and review processes.

• Assist with AI use case reviews and risk assessments, preparing documentation for security, privacy, and leadership review.

• Maintain templates and standards that ensure consistency, compliance, and brand alignment across program deliverables.

AI Adoption and Enablement

• Support delivery of workshops, office hours, and enablement sessions that build staff proficiency with enterprise AI tools such as ChatGPT EDU, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Box AI.

• Drive staff engagement through communications, onboarding materials, and peer-learning programs that grow AI adoption across UCOP.

• Gather feedback and usage insights to identify friction points and improve enablement resources over time.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Three or more years of experience delivering enterprise AI and software lifecycle (SDLC) initiatives from intake through implementation and operational hand-off.

• Experience creating and maintaining program artifacts such as charters, roadmaps, process maps, intake forms, and executive-ready reporting.

• Experience managing a program or project backlog, including intake triage, prioritization, and status tracking.

• Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms (for example, ChatGPT EDU, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Box AI) and their use within a large organization.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation and engage staff across varying levels of technical fluency.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, cross functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting AI governance, standards, or risk and review processes in an enterprise or public sector setting.

• Experience delivering training, workshops, or change-management programs that drive staff adoption of new tools.

• Familiarity with higher education, the public sector, or the University of California environment.

• Experience with tools such as Smartsheet, SharePoint, or Atlassian (Jira and Confluence) for program tracking and collaboration.

• Experience building AI agents, integrating AI APIs, and developing Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers or connectors.

• Experience automating end-to-end business processes using RPA or agent-building platforms such as Power Automate, Copilot Studio, or Automation Anywhere.

• Working knowledge of Python or a similar language for integrations, data processing, and prototyping.
