Operations Data Analyst, Senior

Global Software Resources is seeking a Senior Operations Data Analyst for a hybrid role based in Oakland, CA
. The position supports operations-focused electrification planning across PG&E’s system through ETL development, automated reporting, and data analysis delivered via dashboards and ad hoc outputs. This contract runs from December 19, 2026 through April 18, 2027 with a pay rate of $60.00/hr W2
.

In this role, you will build and maintain data pipelines spanning multiple core data environments, enabling screening and prioritization of electrification opportunities. You will also translate data work into clear, actionable findings for stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain an extract-transform-load (ETL) data pipeline across multiple core data environments to screen and prioritize electrification opportunities across PG&E’s system
  .
• Recommend ways to strengthen the data pipeline by introducing new data sources and improving data processes
  .
• Build automated data routines for reporting and data delivery
  , with a focus on accurate data manipulation and data cleansing
  .
• Create and communicate clear, concise, actionable analyses through dashboards and ad hoc reports
  .

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science
  , Engineering
  , or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years of related work experience.
• Advanced Python skills (or similar languages) for data analysis and automation.
• Advanced SQL and database query skills to extract, transform, and analyze data from data environments.
• Advanced ETL design and maintenance experience for large datasets

• Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools.
• GIS experience preferred

• Familiarity with utility operations

• Ability to analyze and interpret data and effectively communicate findings
