Associate - Construction

A well-established California law firm is seeking a California-admitted litigator to join its Construction and Facilities Group. • Manage and participate in construction and facilities-related litigation matters, including contract disputes, defect claims, and public works issues.
• Handle all aspects of case management, from initial evaluation through discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, briefs, and motions, and assist with strategy development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective litigation and settlement approaches.
• Engage in direct client contact and assume increasing responsibility for case leadership and courtroom experience.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• 5–10 years of litigation experience, preferably in construction-related disputes or complex commercial litigation.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
• Excellent academic credentials (top of class or from a top-tier law school).
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of humor and a passion for advocacy.
