A Maintenance Technician III oversees the day‑to‑day maintenance operations of assigned properties. The Maintenance Technician is a key member that ensures the upkeep and safety of the property and will jump in and work alongside the team. Work involves indoor and outdoor environments and flexibility to adapt to unplanned events, while remaining resourceful and efficient. Works in coordination with the Associate Director of Facilities to ensure the maintenance teams deliver Safe, Appropriate and Sanitary Housing to all our residents.

This role requires On‑site living. A one‑bedroom apartment is provided.

• Contribute to caring and positive working and living environments for all employees and residents
• Assist in enforcing safety regulations; identify and report and/or correct safety hazards.
• Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, mopping, emptying trash, replacing light bulbs, etc.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair all aspects of physical building, outdoor areas, parking areas, and individual units including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc
• Manages and prioritizes work orders in Yardi (or like program) in collaboration with the Assistant Community and Community Managers
• Monitor and replenish maintenance inventory based on property needs, while staying within budget
• General carpentry duties to prepare apartments for move‑in; including but not limited to cleaning, painting, repairing, replacing, and/or refinishing surfaces, windows, appliances, window coverings, flooring, etc
• Move common space furniture, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain regular inventory of needed supplies including but not limited to tools, equipment, safety and safeguards tools, and chemicals
• Regularly attends staff meetings and assigned trainings
• Coordinate with Property and Facilities Management to acquire vendors as necessary
• Enter completed work orders into the Software system with all detailed information pertaining to each repair
• Supports with training of new Maintenance team members
• Other duties as assigned.

This position will report directly to the Community Manager and does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

CCH is committed to paying competitive wages. The salary range for this position is $24.04 - $28.56 in California and $20.96 - $26.62 outside of California. CCH has a competitive benefits package with health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 8% of an employer contribution for retirement, and more. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt position.
