Overview
Related Affordable is a leading provider of affordable housing, committed to delivering quality homes while fostering an inclusive environment. This role is part of our maintenance team servicing a large portfolio of properties across the nation.
Responsibilities- Perform essential maintenance to keep properties in good condition.
- Complete service requests promptly, interacting with residents and ensuring systems remain operational.
- Coordinate with management to resolve resident and maintenance requests efficiently.
- Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames.
- Inspect mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance in partnership with supervisor.
- Assist in preparing sites for inspections.
- Adhere to workplace safety policies, including current COVID‑19 standards.
- Rotate on‑call for emergency maintenance repairs.
- Hourly rate: $27.00 - $32.00
- Eligible for annual bonus and comprehensive benefits (health insurance, retirement plans, PTO).
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance/facilities experience; affordable housing experience preferred.
- Ability to work emergency on‑call rotation, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for 8‑hour shifts.
