Physical Security Project Manager

Position: Physical Security Project Manager

Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid)

Pay: $79 - $80/hour

Experience: At least 5 years managing medium to high complexity physical security projects, experience in delivering IT infrastructure projects including security and networking systems., experience with Primavera, PPMC, SAP, and Microsoft Visio is a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI preferred.

Job Description:

• Lead medium to high complexity physical security projects from initiation through completion.
• Manage project budgets, financials, and cost tracking.
• Drive project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Oversee physical security and IT infrastructure implementations.
• Coordinate vendors, resources, and materials logistics.
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders.

Position Requirements:

• Expert understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Strong experience managing project financials and cost controls.
• Proven ability to plan, schedule, and track resources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to function effectively in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
