Reporting to the Dean's office, the Physical Planning Liaison serves as a key strategist and tactician to CNAS leadership and academic chairs/directors, ensuring the organization achieves physical planning objectives that align with campus leadership. As the single point-of-contact for issues, initiatives, projects, and planning activities involving safety, facilities, and space, the incumbent applies expertise to identify, negotiate, advocate, develop, implement, and evaluate complex issues that significantly impact and influence organizational policies, procedures, processes, and projects related to physical planning and infrastructure.

Serving as the Dean's liaison, this role requires significant problem-solving and project management acumen to implement safety initiatives; prioritize and coordinate facilities projects; and, analyze and modify space utilization to manage risk exposure, leverage resources, and enhance sustainability. Success in this role depends on the ability to engage with constituents at all levels and across many disciplines/units including Enterprise Risk Management, Environmental Health & Safety, Facilities Services, Architects & Engineers, Capital Planning, among others.

Finally, the successful candidate must have the ability to act on behalf of the Dean to represent - and advance - CNAS on a broad range of campus level committees.

The full salary range for the Physical Planning Liaison is $114,300 - $220,900 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $114,300 - $194,250 annually.
