About Vetn Care

Vetn Care is a growing community of veterinary hospitals across Northern California, built on a simple idea: next-level care, next door. We partner with strong local practices and support them with shared infrastructure, operational support, and clinical collaboration, while preserving the heart of each hospital and the relationships that make them special.

Our growth depends on thoughtful, disciplined integration. We work side-by-side with hospital leaders to stabilize operations, improve performance, and build durable systems that support great medicine and great client experience.

Role Summary

The Manager, Integration & Operations supports the integration of new hospitals joining the Vetn Care community and plays a hands-on role in helping stabilize and strengthen hospital operations during the transition period.

This is an in-the-field operator role. You will work closely with Hospital Managers, Clinical Directors, and regional operations leaders to support adoption of Vetn Care systems, operating rhythms, and performance expectations, while maintaining continuity of care and team stability.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure in real-world environments and wants to grow into larger-scale integration and operations leadership over time.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support operational integration for newly acquired hospitals, from pre-close readiness through post-close execution
  • Execute integration plans across staffing, scheduling, systems, financial workflows, client experience, and culture
  • Serve as an on-site resource for hospital leaders during periods of transition
  • Identify and elevate integration risks, operational gaps, and change-management challenges early
Hospital Operations Support
  • Partner with Hospital Managers and Clinical Directors to stabilize day-to-day operations during integration
  • Support implementation of Vetn Care operating expectations, including:
  • Staffing and scheduling practices
  • Time and attendance processes
  • Workflow and protocol adoption
  • Client experience standards and reputation management
  • Financial workflows (collections, deposits, end-of-day processes)
  • Help troubleshoot operational issues and unblock teams
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work with our People, IT, Finance, Payroll, and Clinical Leadership Teams to support onboarding, systems setup, and operational readiness
  • Support consistent adoption of Vetn Care tools and processes at the hospital level
  • Assist with onboarding and training of hospital leaders and teammates
Communication & Follow-Through
  • Maintain clear, practical communication with hospital teams and internal partners
  • Track integration tasks and ensure follow-through
  • Document learnings to continuously improve Vetn Care’s integration playbook
Experience & Profile Required
  • 3–6 years of experience in healthcare operations, veterinary hospital operations, multi-site operations, or practice management
  • Comfort working in clinical environments and fast-paced operational settings
  • Strong execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • High ownership and follow-through
Preferred
  • Experience in veterinary medicine or clinician-led environments
  • Exposure to integrations, transitions, or multi-site operations
  • Experience supporting change initiatives, system rollouts, or operational transformations
Personal Attributes
  • Practical, hands-on operator
  • Calm, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Detail-oriented and reliable
  • Collaborative partner to hospital teams
