Pay/Benefits at a Glance- Pay range is between $93,330 - $ per year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

WhatYou Will Do
The Program Director I is primarily responsible for overseeing the delivery of effective high-quality services of one or more programs serving youth and/or young adults. The Program Director ensures high quality services provision via adherence to service fidelity model, achievement of outcomes, and meeting contractual obligations while providing leadership congruent with applicable regulations, agency policy, values, and mission. The Program Director manages multiple funding streams, is an expert in resource development and management, and ensures programs operate within budgetary guidelines while achieving fiscal viability.
The Program Director takes an active role in hiring, coaching, training, and directing performance areas for staff, including progressive discipline measures. The Program Director has direct and indirect reports. The Program Director represents the agency and program with funders, governmental agencies, and community providers.
Skills, Abilities, Knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to meet FF Core Competencies and the skills, knowledge and abilities listed below.
- Advanced ability to design, deliver, and enhance the quality of trauma informed, culturally responsive, and age-appropriate services for participants and families; demonstrates competency in applying evidence-based and best practice frameworks across diverse populations and program models.
- Proven experience managing, coaching, hiring, recruiting, and delivering developmental feedback to multidisciplinary staff; ability to build high‑performing teams through intentional supervision, clear goal‑setting, and a strengths‑based leadership approach that fosters accountability and professional growth.
- Demonstrated expertise in administering complex, collaborative community mental health and/or residential programs, encompassing full system management, clinical oversight, budgetary stewardship, quality assurance, and the achievement of program, funder, and contractual outcomes.
- Strong ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships with funders, governmental agencies, community partners, and other stakeholders while ensuring full adherence to applicable policies, contractual standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing community mental health, residential, and social services programs; ability to interpret and operationalize compliance requirements across multiple funding streams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present data, program outcomes, and strategic recommendations to diverse audiences including leadership, funders, and community stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting; ability to utilize outcome data to drive continuous quality improvement and inform program decision‑making.
