## Bench Jeweler Full Time Save this Listing---Lauren Wolf Jewelry is searching for a full-time, in-house bench jeweler for production and repair work. This is an in-person position, located in downtown Oakland. Please see the following snippet job description + requirements:

DAY-TO-DAY  + Assist in production duties including fabrication, polishing, casting cleaning, stone setting and repairs+ Serve as the point of quality control to ensure all jobs leaving the studio meet our quality standards+ Work with production manager to fulfill orders, including picking, production, packing, and shipping

Prospective candidates must demonstrate proficiency in:  
-soldering gold and silver  
-casting cleaning for production and one-of-a-kind designs  
-chain repairs  
-ring sizing, re-shanking, and various fine jewelry repairs   
-stone setting  
-laser welding

The ideal candidate will have approximately 5-7 years of jewelry production and bench experience. Excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail are a must. This position marries bench skills and technical execution, the ideal candidate must be able to do both.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

+ Proficiency in basic jewelry production skills (stone setting, polishing, soldering, laser welding, more...)   + Proficiency in fine jewelry repair work (resizing, reshanking, chain repairs, more...  + Proficiency in laser welding   + A commitment to using all bench tools safely  + Excellent time management skills  + Self motivated, meticulous, and able to work-in with a small, established team of jewelers
