As a member of Molten’s early team, you will be a key operator of our lithium ion battery graphite anode material processing facility to take graphite flake to anode active material. You will operate lab and pilot scale chemical processing equipment. You are a scrappy self‑starter with a bias to action. You enjoy being hands‑on and operating physical systems.
What you will do- Operate lab and pilot scale graphite anode processing equipment, including purification, milling, shaping, and coating process equipment
- Optimize Molten’s graphite anode material at lab and pilot scale to meet customer quality, purity, and performance requirements
- 2+ years of experience working with chemicals at the pilot or commercial scale
- Hands‑on experience operating chemical processing or manufacturing equipment
- Safety oriented individual with experience in a laboratory, pilot, or industrial environment
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time
- Wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to full‑face respirators, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel toe safety shoes
- Frequently and repetitively lift, push, and carry up to 35 lbs
- Reach low shelves or items on the floor, stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist, and crawl to perform critical maintenance and assembly
- Startup experience or experience in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience with graphite or carbon powder materials
- Experience with acids
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
$35 - $50 an hour
