Fed Ex Ground is seeking a Conveyor Belt Tracking Specialist at our Oakland sorting facility. You will focus on the critical task of maintaining proper belt tracking across hundreds of conveyor sections, adjust idler rollers and training frames, correct crowned pulley alignment, and prevent belt edge damage that leads to costly replacements.
Requirements- 2+ years of conveyor belt maintenance experience
- Deep understanding of belt tracking principles and adjustments
- Knowledge of different belt types and their tracking characteristics
- Laser alignment tools experience preferred
- Ability to walk long distances and access tight spaces around conveyors
