CNC Research Technician, VF

You are a hands-on CNC Research Technician with experience setting up,
operating, and troubleshooting CNC equipment. You are comfortable working with
a Haas VF2 or similar 3-axis CNC mill and enjoy testing new machining
processes, tooling, and techniques.

This position pays: $38.00–$45.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will be doing

• Set up and
  operate a Haas VF2 CNC mill for research, development, and prototype
  machining.
• Develop and
  test CNC programs, tooling, work holding, and machining processes.
• Perform machine
  setups, tool changes, offsets, and basic troubleshooting.
• Read and
  interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Inspect
  machined components using precision measuring tools.
• Document
  machining results, process improvements, and test findings.
• Collaborate
  with engineers and technicians to improve machining processes and part
  quality.
• Maintain a
  safe, organized, and efficient machining environment.

What you bring

• Hands-on CNC
  machining and setup experience.
• Experience with
  3-axis CNC mills, preferably Haas VF2.
• Ability to read
  and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of
  cutting tools, feeds and speeds, work holding, and machining processes.
• Experience
  using precision inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and
  gauges.
• Ability to
  troubleshoot machining issues and make process adjustments.
• CNC programming
  experience is highly preferred.
• Strong
  attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach to research and
  development.
