phi center for health leadership & impact (chli) serves as the sponsoring organization for the americorps vista hub, recruiting members for projects working to build healthier communities and advance overdose prevention initiatives. Chli supports host sites in the western region (most sites in ca). Members serve on programs working on community resilience efforts in high-poverty communities in americorps western region. Members supporting copn serve with local overdose prevention coalitions across ca.
Each consists of local partners working together to lower overdose deaths and build better systems of addiction treatment. The selected candidate will be a part a statewide member learning community through phi center for health leadership and impact (chli). This community includes support from vista leads and professional development opportunities including workshops, networking events, conferences and other trainings. Members will be part of a network of over 200 chli americorps alums.

vista leaders support projects including vista member recruitment, coordination of vista member professional development, and general program support to coordinate overall americorps activities. All members serve full-time, 40 hours per week for a full 12-month term. Please note, this role is capacity building focused and will not include any direct service. This vista member will need to be able to independently complete tasks.
Additionally, the vista member should have interest in program coordination and project management versus direct service.
Note:
americorps vista leaders must have successfully completed at least one year of americorps vista service, or one full term of full-time service (serving 1,700 hours or more) with either americorps state and national or americorps national civilian community corps (nccc), or at least one traditional term of peace corps service. Waivers or exceptions to this policy are not available.
