Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
The Assistant Director of development is a strategic partner within the development department, contributing to departmental planning, innovation and execution of fundraising initiatives that advance the mission of Holy Names High School. This role supports annual and capital fundraising efforts through multi-channel campaign management, targeted donor communications, gift processing and acknowledgment, and serves as the department’s Raiser’s Edge database superuser. Working closely with the Executive Development Director, the Assistant Director plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence, data integrity, and donor stewardship while helping drive revenue growth in support of student scholarships and school programs.
Together, this department raises $1.3M annually.
- Partner with the executive development Director to plan an annual fundraising strategy, revenue, goals, and performance metrics.
- Lead and execute three established fundraising campaigns, to include developing targeted donor communications, appeals, and stewardship materials.
- Ensure timely and meaningful gift acknowledgments, foster a culture of gratitude, and ensuring adherence to the donor Bill of Rights.
- Serve as Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge super user, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and optimal system use.
- Contribute to a collaborative, forward-thinking team culture, and support professional development initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management or business, communications, education, humanities, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of nonprofit development experience required.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities both collectively and independently.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with commitment to innovation and best practice practices.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms, social media, and basic design tools like Canva preferred.
- Ability to adapt to change, ambiguity, and new opportunities with professionalism and composure.
- Availability for occasional evening and weekend events.
- Ability to stand, walk and manipulate, lift and move, up to 20 pounds.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, exempt position.
- Salary range $65,400 to $76,000, can measure it with experience and education, negotiable.
