Th e Development and Stewardship Associate is a key member of the Development team, coordinating important fundraising and donor stewardship programs. This position works closely with the Chief Development Officer, frontline fundraisers, donors, families, and school partners to support the Parent Pledge Program, foundation grants, and endowment stewardship.
$32.00 – $42.00 per hour, dependent on experience

Development and Stewardship AssociateKey Responsibilities
Coordinate the Parent Pledge Program, including pledge collection and tracking, family communications, outreach campaigns, and follow-up
Serve as the primary point of contact for Parent Pledge families, providing responsive and professional support
Maintain the grants calendar and support foundation relationships through grant proposals, reports, research, and required documentation
Coordinate endowment administration and donor stewardship, including records, donor reports, communications, and engagement opportunities
Help connect endowment donors with students and communicate the impact of their philanthropy
Partner with gift processing and Development colleagues to support accurate and timely pledge and donor information
Support Development events, database projects, and fiscal and calendar year-end fundraising activities
Develop a strong understanding of O’Dowd’s academic program, student experience, and campus community to effectively support donor communications and stewardship
What We’re Looking For in a Development and Stewardship AssociateExperience in development, fundraising, donor relations, stewardship, nonprofit administration, or a related field
Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, details, and deadlines with dependable follow-through.
Strong writing, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to communicate warmly and professionally with donors, families, colleagues, and community members
Strong comfort with databases, spreadsheets, and office technology
Ability to handle donor and financial information with discretion and confidentiality
Grant writing, donor stewardship, or fundraising database experience is a plus
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred
