Job Summary

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification  positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $43.00 - $53.94 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications

* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a Primary Care/Family Practice ambulatory setting.

* Demonstrated excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and high comfort level with learning new technologies/systems.

* Basic computer/keyboarding skills with Windows-based software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

* Prior experience with electronic medical records/systems.

* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Trained and licensed to perform phlebotomy.

* Demonstrated ability to provide highly personalized patient care.

* Demonstrated ability to work as an integral part of a patient care team.

* Strong customer service orientation.

* Proficient in ApeX.

* Must be willing and able to work in mobile and school-based clinical environments, including variable schedules, outdoor conditions, and multiple community locations.

Preferred Qualifications

* Familiarity with the principles of a Patient-Centered Medical Home environment.

* Prior experience in mobile health clinics, school-based health centers, or community outreach programs.

* Experience working in FQHC or HRSA-regulated environments.
