- Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- 6 months experience working with developmentally disabled populations required.
- Comprehensive training provided.
- You will work 8:00am-4:30p Monday-Friday – No weekends or holidays!
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in patient assessment, care plan development, and admission/discharge activities.
- Ability to contribute to interdisciplinary programs and teach nursing curriculum to staff.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

We're searching for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) Services team in Carmichael, CA, where you'll play a vital role supporting adults and adolescents with intellectual disabilities and complex medical needs in our residential program.
Duties & Responsibilities- Oversight of LVNs at 4 residential locations.
- Collaborate with doctors and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and assist staff with medical concerns.
- Teach medication certification classes to DSP staff.
- Spend time between the office at the assigned residential program and the 3 other residential facilities, ensuring comprehensive care and support.
- Oversee and monitor medication supplies, follow up on LVN orders.
- Coordinate care for clients.
- Advise DSP staff on the need for urgent care or hospital visits for clients.
- Comprehensive training provided.
$55/hour
