• Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• 6 months experience working with developmentally disabled populations required.
• Comprehensive training provided.
• You will work 8:00am-4:30p Monday-Friday – No weekends or holidays!

• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, care plan development, and admission/discharge activities.
• Ability to contribute to interdisciplinary programs and teach nursing curriculum to staff.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

We're searching for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) Services team in Carmichael, CA, where you'll play a vital role supporting adults and adolescents with intellectual disabilities and complex medical needs in our residential program.

• Oversight of LVNs at 4 residential locations.
• Collaborate with doctors and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and assist staff with medical concerns.
• Teach medication certification classes to DSP staff.
• Spend time between the office at the assigned residential program and the 3 other residential facilities, ensuring comprehensive care and support.
• Oversee and monitor medication supplies, follow up on LVN orders.
• Coordinate care for clients.
• Advise DSP staff on the need for urgent care or hospital visits for clients.
• Comprehensive training provided.

$55/hour
