Job Title:
Registered Nurse (RN) – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Location:
Oakland, CA 94611 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift options: 12 x 3 Days | 12 x 3 Nights Local: $80/hr (W2) Travel: $3500/weekly Required
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN
Job Summary NICU RN provides nursing care to critically ill newborns, supporting stabilization, treatment, monitoring, and family education in a NICU environment. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe care delivery. Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive assessments, implement NICU‑specific care plans, administer medications, and manage ventilators/CPAP/high‑flow equipment. Respond to neonatal emergencies, resuscitations, and rapid changes in patient condition using NRP and PALS protocols. Provide parent/family education, maintain accurate documentation, and actively participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care coordination.
