Registered Practical Nurse; Temp PT ; Leamington

Join The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County as a Temporary Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse and contribute to compassionate end‑of‑life care. Work collaboratively in a supportive team workplace with a focus on patient needs.

In this up to six‑month position, you will support the Hospice Residence Manager and provide high‑quality care to patients. This role involves direct involvement in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and educating families on health care provisions. You will also manage complex situations effectively, ensuring the comfort and dignity of each patient.

• Assess patient needs using the CHPCA 8 domains of care
• Develop and evaluate care plans tailored to individual patients
• Provide medication administration and advanced treatments
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal care
• Conduct family education and support throughout the process

• Active RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Three years of experience in community palliative care
• Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Demonstrated understanding of pain and symptom management
