Our Trauma Team plays a critical role in the hospital’s mission, of serving all.
We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Trauma Team, primarily in the ICU. This role involves managing critically injured trauma patients, performing procedures, participating in rounds, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care.
While prior trauma or critical care experience is preferred, we encourage new graduates or those eager to learn and grow in the field of acute trauma and critical care medicine to apply.

SUMMARYUnder general direction, assesses, evaluates and manages the health care needs of patients. Performs selected diagnostic and therapeutic tasks. Provides health care services and performs clinical procedures that require possession of advanced knowledge and skills and the exercise of a high degree of clinical judgment in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients. Performs related duties as required.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSNOTE:

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience:
Demonstrated experience which would provide the knowledge and skill necessary for successful performance as a Mid‑Level Practitioner.
Preferred Experience:
One year in area of specialty (i.e. Cardiology, Neurology, G.I, Rheumatology, Orthopedics, Hematology, etc.), PG Residency of ED experience or post‑graduate training in area of responsibility.
Preferred Licenses/Certification: ACLS, ATLS, SART, dependent on area of specialty.
Preferred Licenses/Certification: BLS
- Basic Life Support Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Preferred Licenses/Certification: PALS
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification- AHA American Heart Association (Required for Emergency Department or if overseeing or providing pediatric care on a regular basis).
