What You Will Do to Change Lives
As a senior member of the clinical team, the Psych Nurse Practitioner provides direct psychiatric care and medication treatment to members served, in addition to the recovery focused treatment plan developed and delivered in concert with the multidisciplinary team.
Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP - 16 hours/week8:30 am – 5:00 pm, onsite (Must work Tuesdays, other scheduled days are flexible M‑F).
CompensationExpected Employee starting wage range: $85.32 / hour – $105.36 / hour. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
- Active DEA and furnishing licenses
- Dynamic, collaborative, and professional team environment
- Provide patient‑centered care with an established mental health organization founded in 1965
- Thorough training and shadow host provided

Based on the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model, STRIDES of Alameda County is an intensive community support service for 100 individuals with severe mental illness (SMI), between the ages of 18‑62, who are considered to be at great risk for psychiatric hospitalization.
