Apprentice Tree Climber

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Tree Climber to join our Tree Care service business. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Tree Climbers to learn the skills and techniques required for tree climbing, pruning, and removal.

• Assist experienced Tree Climbers with tree climbing, pruning, and removal using industry-standard techniques and equipment.
• Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, and other equipment under the guidance of experienced crew members.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry safety standards and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and customers to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some experience in tree care or related field preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and in high places.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and use hand and power tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

The Apprentice Tree Climber position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to climb trees, operate equipment, lift heavy objects, and work in all weather conditions.
