Quality Control Analyst – Aphria One (Leamington, ON – Onsite)

The Quality Control Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards through analytical testing and data analysis. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining product quality and safety. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.

• Analyze samples of raw materials, in-process, and finished products for conformance to company specifications.
• Perform testing using analytical equipment and instruments.
• Document, interpret, and report results, noting any deviations and non‑compliances.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Troubleshoot equipment when failures and unusual performances occur to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest ways to enhance processes.
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain laboratory inventory counts to ensure the laboratory is properly stocked with supplies.

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a scientific discipline is required.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a laboratory environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent grammar and communication skills required.
• High attention to detail necessary.
• Ability to work in team and individual environments.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $50,000 – $53,000. The actual offer will be determined based on skills, experience, education, market benchmarks, and internal equity.
