Role DescriptionThe Sales / Project Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Oakland, CA. This role manages incoming customer inquiries, provides product and service information, and prepares quotes and proposals to support sales activities. The coordinator tracks project timelines, organizes production details, and communicates with internal teams to ensure orders are accurate and on schedule. Daily responsibilities include maintaining customer records, following up on leads, coordinating installations and deliveries, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
The role also involves assisting with showroom displays, supporting marketing efforts, and contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Candidates should possess strong Project Coordination skills, including organizing tasks, managing timelines, and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret customer needs, review specifications, and ensure accurate quotes and project details.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills focused on responsiveness, problem-solving, and building long-term client relationships.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills, including lead follow-up, upselling appropriate solutions, and supporting the achievement of sales targets.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with office software (e.g., CRM systems, spreadsheets), attention to detail, and basic understanding of signage, printing, or visual marketing.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, project-based, or signage/printing environment is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and further education in business, marketing, or related fields is a plus.
