** OVERVIEW:
** The Account Director, Career Connect Sales will serve as an expert salesperson within Year Up United. In this role, you will build pipeline and secure revenue via paid employer partnerships with corporations nationwide that result in Year Up United Career Connect students achieving career success.

Career Connect is a strategic growth priority at Year Up United designed to deliver lower-cost, scalable workforce solutions that leverage Year Up United's core strengths while expanding access to employers of all sizes and emerging industries.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Career Connect Sales – Team Lead this role will personally implement work on the ground dedicated to building brand new relationships in industries including but not limited to healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and skilled trades that yield direct hire, staffing, or work-based options on flexible timelines to partners. The Sr. Director will develop relationships with the goal of designing talent solutions grounded in Year Up United’s expertise that yield revenue streams include training fees, placement fees, and subscriptions from partner companies.

The ideal candidate should desire to leverage their demonstrated experience in sales, strategy, and business development practices within our mission-driven social enterprise.

The impact of this role be measured by achievement of weekly activity metrics, employer revenue generated, quantity of pilots or partnerships sold, support of organizational goals, new industries unlocked, and ROI of partnerships  keeping with Year Up United’s values, the Account Director, Career Connect Sales will also have the opportunity to interact with students as coach, facilitator, and advocate, participating in creating and sustaining a positive educational environment.

This is a hybrid role requiring regular in-person engagement. Applicants must live within a reasonable commutable distance to a Year Up United location.

* KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

**** New Business Development and Relationship Management
*** Manage a portfolio of target accounts in assigned industries and drive external activity toward partnership sales.
* Review personal pipeline weekly to add or remove target accounts.
* Meet or exceed performance indicators: number of calls and confirmed meetings with prospects per week; placements/pilots sold; revenue from new partners; new industries unlocked; ROI of partnerships; partners retained or upgraded, etc.
* Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned industries disseminating industry trends and/or sales tactical advice as needed.
* Regularly attend networking or industry events to acquire new leads for self or colleagues.
* Leverage technology to streamline and support outreach, follow-up, and proposal development.
* Stay abreast of latest developments related to Career Connect or general Year Up United programmatic trends to inform understanding of sales tactics and proposals.
* Share effective sales materials or proposals with colleagues.
* Oversee logistics related to client accounts: craft account specific-playbooks for other colleagues e.g. Placement Success to run with after pilot phase, when applicable.
* Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
* Engage with decision-makers in a variety of formal and informal settings
* Update Salesforce with activity and meeting notes daily; ensure accuracy of sales stages for all opportunities owned.
