Tactical Security Ambassador - Supermarket

Job Description

Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Ambassador for a supermarket. The role involves patrolling, rapid response, and incident reporting in retail environments.

• Schedule:
  
  Full time, 40 hours/week (Saturday–Wednesday, 2:15 pm–11:15 pm)
• Competitive hourly wage: $34 / hr (Daily Pay available)

• Observe, survey, and report activity at the assigned location.
• Work indoors and outdoors in variable environments.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed reports.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Detain and search individuals.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

• State security license and additional 32‑hour BSIS security trainings (additional trainings available during hiring).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• At least five years of security experience.
• 21 + years of age.
• Baton permit.
• OC spray permit.
• Handcuff permit.
• Resume of security experience.
• Current or former military or law enforcement experience encouraged.
• Ability to pass extensive screening process.
• First‑aid certification an asset.
• Physical stamina: ability to stand and walk for entire shift.
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience a plus.
