As an Armed Security Officer, you will be part of a highly trained security team that supports critical facilities, public venues, and personal protective services. You’ll be trained by qualified firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship.

- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Hold a high school diploma or GED credential
- Have at least three (3) years of experience as a law‑enforcement officer with arrest authority or three (3) years of prisoner‑handling and detention experience as a corrections, detention, or military police officer
- Speak, read, and write English
- Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Be certified fit‑for‑duty and able to perform the full range of duties associated with the CDO position by a medical professional
- Not have a physical condition that would restrict strenuous exertion or prevent satisfactory performance
- Not have a medical condition that would restrict strenuous exertion or prevent satisfactory performance
- Not have an emotional or mental condition that could adversely affect performance
- Have an honorable or general discharge if a veteran
- Constant or frequent personal surveillance of secured areas
- Close observation of persons within secured areas to detect damage, misuse, or theft
- Monitor equipment deliveries and construction contractor activities
- Close visual inspections of persons and vehicles entering/exiting secured areas to ensure no unauthorized items are introduced or removed
- Report persons suspected of illegal or unauthorized acts
- Immediately report unsafe conditions that could cause fires, explosions, collapses, or other hazards
- Prohibit unauthorized personnel and vehicular access to property
- Enforce procedures to report trespassers and be trained to apprehend per local post orders
- Monitor and respond to alarm system communications
- Demonstrate good presence of mind and timely decision‑making
- Notify appropriate agencies and company management personnel per local post orders
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols, including parking lot patrols
- Check all personnel entering facilities, log visitors, vehicles, and vendors, issue badges, maintain logs, and administer access control
- Participate in assigned position as part of the building fire and emergency action plan
- Use electronic mapping software to locate company facilities
- Prepare and submit accurate security reports and assist investigators as required
- Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely manner
- Respond to crowd and traffic control duties during emergencies per management direction
- Make all communication check‑in calls on time or account for absences prior to check‑in time
