This Unarmed Security Officer position supports critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues, and ensures an enhanced security presence.

• Cover posts such as customer counters, employee and vehicle entrances, guard houses, gates, construction gates, parking lot, perimeter.
• Screen employees and personal baggage at pedestrian and vehicle entrances.
• Verify seal controls on vehicles at gateway (cut and apply seals).
• Verify identity badges of personnel for clearance and screen vehicles.
• Manage temporary badge process.
• Conduct roving patrols on foot around perimeter fences, gates, buildings, warehouses, storage areas, switchyards, etc.
• Identify fire hazards, unauthorized activity, malfunctioning utility and hazardous conditions.
• Operate X‑ray machine.
• Perform additional duties related to security of premises as required.
• May be required to perform emergency duties requiring physical exertion, such as standing or walking for entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying up to 50lbs. and running.

• Have reliable transportation.
• Physically capable of performing the assigned work.
• Be able to meet all applicable licensing, registration, and certification requirements in the state in which the officer’s assigned facility is located.
• Communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.

• Must be 18years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.

• CA BSIS Guard Card.
