Job Type: Part‑time, NON‑EXEMPT

Pay Rate: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour

Work Location:

In‑person (Greater Bay Area)

Availability Requirement:
Open availability is required, including weekends and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (PREFERRED)
• 3+ years of supervisory experience (REQUIRED)
• Experience working with the general public or within educational settings

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (REQUIRED)
• Valid Driver’s License (REQUIRED)
• CPR Certification (REQUIRED)
• Preferred:
  De‑escalation and Active Shooter Preparedness Certification
• Narcan Certification or willingness to be trained

• Strong communication, customer service, and leadership abilities
• Technological proficiency (mobile reporting tools, tablets, radios)
• Calm decision‑making in fast‑paced situations
• Professional appearance and conduct

• Patrol high‑traffic areas and oversee on‑site ambassador teams
• Ensure site post orders and shift duties are followed
• Provide support, coaching, and redirection to team members as needed
• Assist with pedestrian engagement and provide directions
• Report hazards or suspicious activity to dispatch and leadership
• Write clear and timely reports and shift updates
• Respond to emergencies or conflicts, including Narcan administration when appropriate
