Job DescriptionGarda World Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer. The role requires reading the environment, anticipating risk, and acting accordingly. Physical ability is essential, as you will patrol retail stores, airports, detention centers, and other locations.

- Alameda, CA – Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Alameda, CA – Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
- San Francisco, CA – Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

- Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
- Verify identities and control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
- Document incidents and actions taken
- Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED
- Have 2 years of security mobile patrol experience; customer service preferred
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid CA Driver’s License
- First aid certification is an asset
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for the entire shift
- Security, military, or law enforcement experience – even better
- Possess a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and an additional 32 hr. of BSIS security training; additional training can be obtained during the hiring process
