Garda World Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer. The role requires reading the environment, anticipating risk, and acting accordingly. Physical ability is essential, as you will patrol retail stores, airports, detention centers, and other locations.

• Schedule(s):
  • Alameda, CA – Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Alameda, CA – Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
  • San Francisco, CA – Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Competitive hourly wage of $28.50 / hour (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees)

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED
• Have 2 years of security mobile patrol experience; customer service preferred
• Be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid CA Driver’s License
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for the entire shift
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience – even better
• Possess a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and an additional 32 hr. of BSIS security training; additional training can be obtained during the hiring process
