Position SummaryBSG is seeking dedicated Campus Residential Security Officers for a prestigious private university in Oakland. The primary responsibility is to ensure access control of residence halls through high‑visibility deterrence, patrols, and community engagement. Officers are expected to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and visitors, promote a safe and welcoming environment, act as first responders to emergencies, monitor security, communications, and fire/life safety systems, accurately document events, and enforce campus residential rules.
Schedule& Compensation
Shifts:
Full‑time Morning, Swing, and Grave (Weekend availability required). Hourly rate: $25.00 per hour. Position aligns with the college calendar, including a multi‑week winter break and no scheduled work during summer months. The schedule is subject to change depending on business needs.

- Possess a current California Guard Card License.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required for applicable sites.

- Ensure compliance with both company and client policies while being open to performance improvement.
- Clear understanding of emergency response procedures and protocols.
- At least one year of experience in security, mobile patrol, or event staff roles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
