As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Watch in Oakland, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Pay Rate: $21.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site rules, helping to support authorized access procedures and reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance to the public, and completing required reports related to observations, incidents, and/or security‑related activities.

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
