As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

Part-Time, Thursday & Friday / 10:30pm-7:00am - Competitive hourly wage of $35.95/ hour (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees!)

- Day to supervisor operations such as training new officers, doing post checks, scheduling to make sure the site has zero dark posts, direct, supervise, and support shift officers.
- Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
- Manage access control and be ready to respond to any operational emergency and insure timely response, timely and efficient communications and accurate reporting
- Ensure that operational logs, records and post orders are maintained appropriately.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with client and employees and serve as the liaison between Garda World, our client, and our assigned staff
- Maintain goal of zero safety incidents, while at the same time managing a robust safety culture and a robust safety program that is appropriate to the operating environments
- Responsible for corrective action and discipline of subordinate officers (up to formal warnings) and recommending and participating in other disciplinary decisions up to and including termination.
- Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
- Supervise & manage employees on your shift at your assigned job site.
- Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with our client at the assigned site.
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months in a security leadership position required
- 2 years of security industry experience is preferred
- Strong report writing skills
- Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
- Strong proficiency with technology
- If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
- Must have a current BSIS issued Security License (Guard Card) and additional 32 hr. security trainings. (Additional security trainings may be obtained during the onboarding process)
