General Repair & Maintenance Trades Management includes skilled trades workers who construct, maintain, and repair facilities systems, buildings, and equipment including the following:

• Carpentry
• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning (HVAC)
• Welding
• Mechanical repair & maintenance
• Machining repair & maintenance trades (tool & die making, mold making, metal part making, etc.)
• CNC Programming
• Heavy Equipment Operators
• Team Leader (M1) supervises para-professional employees

Responsibilities typically include: setting day-to-day operational objectives for the team; addressing problems that may be difficult but are typically not complex; ensuring policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.
