We at Go Beyond Builders are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Master Carpenter to join our team and lead complex construction and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in various facets of carpentry, the ability to read complex plans, and site management. This role demands a professional capable of managing a small team, ensuring quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within scope.

The Master Carpenter will play a pivotal role in supervising teams, and maintaining safety protocols across diverse construction environments.

• Lead and supervise and small team in residential and commercial construction and restoration projects, including framing, siding, and drywall.
• Prepare accurate project timelines based on blueprints, schematics, and client specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, address issues promptly, and ensure compliance with building codes.
• Ensure all work meets industry standards for craftsmanship and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project managers.

• Proven experience in rough carpentry work.
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools; familiarity with CNC machinery preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various phases of construction or restoration projects.
• Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and quality assurance.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage different phases of projects.
• Valid experience in working on diverse construction sites with a focus on craftsmanship excellence
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to supervise teams effectively
• Certification or training in relevant trades is highly desirable
• Deep understanding of wood characteristics, including how it behaves and moves after installation.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, solve, or mitigate, complex design or structural issues on-site.
• Must own your own tools.
