We need a Per Diem Broadcast Technician to support a winning team with a diverse, supportive culture.

• Operate in Master Control, the Technical Operations Center, and Ingest.
• Master Control automation experience is required, with emphasis on switching live sports.
• Ensure compliance with FCC regulations related to closed captioning, EAS, transmitters, text‑to‑speech, and the CALM Act.
• Apply live news experience, including tuning in live shots via microwave, satellite, and bonded cellular.
• Perform commercial and program ingest, segmentation, and quality control of on‑air signal.
• Work flexible shifts, which may include nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform additional duties as deemed appropriate and necessary.

• Work under tight timelines and high stress while maintaining an exceptional on‑air product.
• Possess basic technical troubleshooting skills and communicate issues to Maintenance Engineers and supervisors.
• Have computer hardware, software, and networking experience and learn new applications quickly.
• Collaborate effectively with the Engineering department and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Two years of college or technical school and one to two years of related experience preferred.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role is $27.52‑$48.86 per hour, dependent on education, skills, experience, and location.
