Diligence Security Group is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance, compliance, field performance, and code adherence for Fire Alarm Installers and Fire Alarm Technicians. This role ensures that all work meets NFPA 72, Title 19, California Fire Code, and company standards. The position involves conducting field audits, training technicians, validating installation practices, reviewing documentation, and supporting continuous improvement of fire alarm operations.
A strong technical background in fire alarm systems, installation methods, and inspection protocols is required.

Requirements Availability- Must have open availability including weekdays, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Must be available for early morning, daytime, and occasional evening assignments based on project needs.
- Must be able to travel throughout the Greater Bay Area for field audits, inspections, and site visits.
- Must be willing to adjust schedule based on AHJ inspections, contractor coordination, or urgent quality concerns.
- California Fire/Life Safety (FLS) Technician Certification is required.
- NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level II or higher is required;
Level III preferred. - Valid State Driver's License is required.
- Minimum 5–8 years of commercial fire alarm installation, service, or inspection experience.
- Knowledge of NFPA 72, Title 19, and California Fire Code.
- Experience working with systems including Honeywell, EST, Silent Knight, Fire Lite, Bosch, Notifier, and similar platforms.
- Experience conducting site audits, system validation, and documentation review.
- Supervisory, training, or quality management experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Must be technologically proficient with strong skills in documentation, software use, and reporting.
- Experience working with contractors, inspectors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
- Conduct quality audits on fire alarm installations, service calls, inspections, and testing activities.
- Verify code compliance, device placement, wiring practices, terminations, and panel configurations.
- Ensure adherence to NFPA 72, Title 19, California Fire Code, and company procedures.
- Train and coach technicians on installation and service standards.
- Review and approve inspection reports, deficiency lists, as‑builts, and compliance documentation.
- Participate in system acceptance testing with AHJs and client representatives.
- Develop quality control procedures, checklists, and standardized SOPs.
- Identify performance issues and implement corrective action plans.
- Support project managers through technical evaluations and field assessments.
- Maintain accurate audit logs, compliance reporting, and field performance metrics.
