Job Description Job Summary
Help manage daily operations of sites to ensure delivery of high-quality craftsmanship and service to clients. Responsible for crew productivity, and workplace safety.
Essential Functions- Serve as client point-of-contact for day-to-day site issues, and expeditiously and proactively identify, address, and resolve client needs
- Conduct walkthroughs with client
- Effectively communicate with crew the tasks necessary to provide a consistent, high-quality product for clients
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills; develop morale and recognize employee achievements; foster opportunities for professional development of employees
- Work closely with Co-Owners on client communication and expectations, including site information
- Ensure safety on every site by conducting and enforcing safety training, as well as consistently monitor job sites for potential safety hazards
- Constantly promote and encourage adherence to company policies and best practices
- Direct supervision of 2-8 person crews
- Problem resolution
- 2 years of professional experience in the field.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Ability to speak effectively before employees and clients
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
- Strong relationship-building and customer relations skills
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Effective oral and written communication
- Ability to operate commercial landscape equipment and tools
- Have a working understanding of irrigation repairs and familiarity with irrigation controller monitoring and adjusting
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform well under deadlines
- Organizational skills
- Flexibility
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and controller programming, as well as landscape maintenance techniques & methods.
- Superior gardening & pruning skills, proficiency operating hand tools and ability to recognize the signs of plant stress.
- General maintenance / handyman skills and a focus on working safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, willingness & ability to receive and act on instructions from supervisors and customer service oriented.
- Able to work outdoors all seasons of the year.
We offer an excellent working environment, competitive compensation, and simple IRA with 2% matching after 6 months of employment.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year depending on experience.
