Honey Homes is hiring experienced handymen in the East Bay. Earn $36/hr with a $1,000 sign-on bonus, work Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm, and never take an on-call shift again.

You’ll serve a dedicated territory of 40-50 homes across Oakland, Berkeley, and Piedmont - no client hunting, no unpredictable schedules, no weekends. Just steady, well-paid handyman work and the chance to become the trusted maintenance technician for every home on your route.

• $36/hr ($75,000/year) plus equity in the business

• $1500 sign-on bonus, paid in $500 increments every 30 days after training

• Mileage reimbursement for all local driving between appointments

• Manage a dedicated route of 40-50 residential homes across Oakland, Berkeley, and Piedmont as the trusted handyman for each homeowner

• Perform residential repairs and maintenance across multiple trades:

  • Carpentry - doors, trim, framing, repairs

  • Painting and drywall patching

  • Plumbing - toilets, faucets, minor pipe repairs

  • Electrical - fixtures, outlets, small wiring tasks

  • Smart home device installation

• Deliver outstanding customer service and build long-term homeowner relationships

• Use our mobile app to track jobs, tasks, and schedules

• 5+ years of handyman, maintenance technician, or multi-trade experience

• Hands-on skill across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall

• Prior work as a maintenance technician, carpenter, plumber, or electrician strongly preferred

• Strong troubleshooting ability - can independently assess and fix most issues in a home

• Attention to detail (clean caulk lines, professional patching and painting)

• Customer-friendly attitude - great listener, strong communicator, proactive

• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and your own tools

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly (with or without reasonable accommodation)

• Comfortable working on ladders or scaffolding at heights up to 12 feet
