About the RoleWe’re looking for a Bilingual Therapeutic Behavioral Services Specialist to provide hands‑on, community‑based mental health support to youth and families across Alameda County. You’ll work with clients—typically ages 10 to 17, and up to age 20—in their homes and communities to build coping skills, respond to crises, and support stability. We’ll rely on you to partner with families and other providers to deliver strengths‑based care that helps youth stay safe, connected, and moving toward their goals.

Responsibilities- Provide counseling, behavioral support, and case management services to youth and families.
- Deliver community‑based mental health services in homes, schools, hospitals, and other settings.
- Support youth and caregivers in building skills, strengthening relationships, and working toward treatment goals.
- Connect clients and families to natural supports and community‑based resources.
- Provide crisis intervention and use de‑escalation strategies to support safety and stabilization.
- Collaborate with treatment providers and participate in care planning, treatment reviews, and school‑based meetings as needed.
- Complete clinical documentation, service notes, and tracking paperwork in a timely manner.
- Support coordination of appointments, school‑related needs, and other service logistics for clients and families.
- Participate in on‑call response, supervision, training, and team collaboration to support quality care.
- Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree OR
- Associate’s degree or equivalent + 1 year of applicable experience OR
- High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of applicable experience
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
. - Applicable experience can include paid or unpaid experience working with youth or families or working in the social services field.
- Experience working with children/youth and families with complex and enduring needs (preferred).
- Experience implementing family‑focused services (preferred).
- At least 21 years of age.
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
- Own vehicle, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy.
- Hybrid – Full Time
- Monday – Friday
- 9 am – 5:30 pm
- In‑person services throughout Alameda County
- Starting at $30.59 – $33.09 per hour.
- Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications.
