Your Role
The Cloud Test Development team, part of EAI
-Internal Developer Platform, is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks, best practices, processes, and tools. Our goal is to enhance the self-service experience for developers and support automated testing capabilities for continuous testing. The Software Development Engineer in Test, Senior will report to the Sr. Manager, Technical Engineering. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and Dev Ops engineers to design and develop test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or custom-built solutions.
You will also work with Test Automation tools and CICD tools to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, supporting continuous testing and high-quality software delivery.

Your Knowledge and Experience- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Requires 5 years of professional experience serving as a technical expert in software development, testing and automation and thought leader in SDET role
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript; database knowledge/experience required
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools/libraries like Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Postman
- Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bit Bucket, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Preferably current MSFT AZ-400 and AZ-900 Certification or equivalent knowledge
- Experience with performance testing tools (Load Runner, Azure Load Test), Accessibility Testing is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Experience in integrating Test Automation Frameworks with Cloud Orchestration Platforms like Sauce Labs, Browser Stack etc.
- Experience with Integrating AI into Test Automation Workflows
