THS Part Time Evening Driver

Job Description

The work of a CDL Short Haul Driver for Postal Operations includes but is not limited to driving company trucks in short-haul routes between in-state company warehouses.

The work of an Airport Transfer Truck Driver includes but are not limited to currently hold a CDL-Class A with hazmat endorsements. Ability to drive a tractor trailer daily to accommodate busy workload at airport.

• Transport cargo via 53' trailer from various types of aircraft to warehouse or warehouse to aircraft while adhering to strict safety regulations.
• Customer service oriented as you will be interacting with airline representatives and staff.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 1-2 years Trucking experience with manual transmission.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Class A CDL Driver's License.
• Successful completion of the required airport badging process, USPS background check, pre-employment drug screen, and a physical driving record.
• Excellent knowledge of Ramp Operations.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Leadership ability.
• Customer focus and quality awareness.
• Perform and Document Truck Pre-Operation Inspections. Visual Inspection / Fuel / Tires / Mirrors / Lights / Windshield Cracks / Brake Checks / Fluid Leaks / Fire Extinguisher / 3 Safety triangle.

• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces.
• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment.

Alliance Ground International operates twenty-four hours a day seven days a week in three operational shifts, AGI requires its employees to be able to work flexible schedules which may be adjusted to meet operational demands such as flight delays, cancellations, adhocs, etc. Applicants must be able to work on weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and holidays. Strict adherence to company attendance policies are expected and enforced.
