You must be 18 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards. You also need access to an insured, reliable vehicle that can be used for deliveries. You should possess strong navigational skills: the ability to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate multi‑story buildings and adverse terrain.

Many of our team members began as delivery drivers and have grown into successful franchise owners or managerial roles, including general manager, franchisee, or corporate operations positions.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and work area, including walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Orientation and on‑the‑job training is provided.

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

• Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Make correct monetary change.
• Strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigate addresses within the delivery area.
• Manage adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when providing outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in some work areas.
• Sudden temperature changes inside and outside.
• Fumes from food odors.
• Exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving, and couponing.

• Talking and hearing on telephone.
• Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Far vision and night vision for driving.

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Standing:
Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile with linoleum in some food process areas. Work surfaces are between 36" and 48" high.

Walking:
Delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to the customer's location. Paperwork is normally completed at a desk or table.

Lifting:
