Graphics Designer

Purpose

The Graphic Designer’s purpose is to help Lakeside maintain and improve excellent visual branding by creating content, print pieces, and promotional materials for Sunday’s, events/conferences, department requests and more. They are to support the creative department and produce items that represent Lakeside’s brand and mission.

• Assist in the creation of visually appealing and effective design materials for the Lakeside Church including content, print pieces, promotional materials, apparel, etc.
• Understand Lakeside’s brand/mission and communicate it through all design projects.
• Work closely with the Creative Project Manager to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
• Implement feedback and revisions promptly to meet project goals and maintain high design standards.
• Stay current on creative trends by following other churches.
• Bring fresh inspiration and ideas to the table for design projects.
• Attend event planning meetings when applicable.

• Experience and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous graphic design work.
• Basic understanding of design principles, layout, and typography.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people from various backgrounds.
• Can communicate the vision of the Lakeside Church using visual design.
• Proven track record of effective time management.
• Ability to quickly learn and excel in the use of technology.
• Ability to handle multiple projects effectively and produce excellence.
• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in editing and proofreading.
• Detail oriented, creative, and ability to learn new software applications.
• Positive approach to problem solving. Must be solution oriented.
