Position Summary

CCIS Travel is seeking a Vice President of Sales & Marketing to lead the next chapter of growth for our organization. This newly created executive leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing the company's overall sales and marketing strategy while leading an established team of four sales professionals, including the current Director of Sales. Working closely with ownership and the Vice President of Operations, this leader will modernize our sales and marketing systems, strengthen customer acquisition efforts, improve revenue forecasting, and expand our presence within the student travel and group travel markets.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, results‑oriented leader who thrives on building scalable systems, improving performance, and driving measurable growth. They combine strong analytical thinking with decisive leadership and are energized by solving complex business challenges, implementing new technologies, and creating structure that supports sustainable growth. This individual is proactive, achievement‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards for themselves and their team.

They are equally capable of developing long‑term growth strategies and executing the day‑to‑day initiatives required to achieve ambitious business goals.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Marketing
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Identify and pursue new geographic territories and customer segments within the group travel industry
  • Build and manage modern lead‑generation campaigns across digital advertising, email marketing, SEO, social media, and industry events
  • Refresh and strengthen the company's market positioning while honoring its 33‑year legacy and reputation
  • Oversee website management, content strategy, and social media initiatives
  • Manage referral, research team, frequent traveler, scholarship, and grant programs
Sales Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing sales team of four professionals
  • Partner with the Director of Sales to identify growth opportunities and future staffing needs
  • Establish a structured sales process with clear accountability and performance expectations
  • Implement consultative selling methodologies tailored to educators, school administrators, and parent organizations
  • Improve conversion rates, sales effectiveness, and overall team performance
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and performance excellence
  • Establish clear expectations, measurable goals, and consistent standards across the sales organization
  • Drive strategic initiatives while balancing multiple priorities and growth opportunities
  • Mentor and develop team members through coaching, performance management, and leadership development
Technology & Data Strategy
  • Partner with the Vice President of Operations to evaluate, select, and implement a modern CRM platform
