Advanced Practice Professional (NP or PA) – Emergency Medicine
We are seeking a full‑time Advanced Practice Professional (NP or PA) to join our Emergency Medicine team at Garrett Regional Medical Center in Oakland, Maryland.
ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive outpatient clinical care in an emergency medicine capacity and establish preventive health practices for patients. Practice medicine for the right reasons with the right people, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
Minimum Qualifications – Nurse Practitioner- Graduate of a CCNE‑accredited nursing program with a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
- National certification by an APRN Certification Center.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse and advanced practice registered nurse in Pennsylvania.
- CNOR certification.
- BLS certification with additional advanced life‑support training at the department’s discretion.
- Emergency medicine or urgent‑care experience preferred.
- Eligible new graduates will be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree as Physician Assistant required.
- Graduate of an ARC‑PA approved PA training program.
- Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure by the PA Board of Medicine.
- BLS certification with advanced life‑support training at the department’s discretion.
- Emergency medicine/urgent‑care experience preferred.
- Eligible new graduates will be considered.
Scheduled weekly hours: 36. Exempt (U.S. federal).
Compensation based on 100% FTE; salary prorated for less than 100% FTE.
