Learn more: As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor processing, communicate clearly with site personnel, and deliver customer service with integrity. - Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, yards, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or public services when required.
- Complete detailed reports and logs for patrol activity, access control actions, and incident response, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
