DescriptionThe district anticipates the need for a leave replacement teacher to teach FCS at Ramapo High School. Tentative dates are September 29 through October 27, 2026.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in Culinary Arts and FCS
- Design and supervise safe, inquiry-based laboratory experiments and investigations
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and respectful discussion
- Use a variety of formative and summative assessments to track student progress and adjust instruction
- Incorporate technology, project-based learning, and real-world applications into the curriculum
- Participate in faculty meetings, parent conferences, professional development, and school events
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Other duties as assigned
Must hold or be immediately eligible for NJDOE certification in Family Consumer Sciences.
CompensationSalary range is $311 to $340 per day, depending on level of experience and education.
